These translations of ancient Greek mythological texts are part of the Early Greek Project, currently found at http://fvankeur.wordpress.com/. We are creating an online companion for Early Greek Myth, by Timothy Gantz. The companion will eventually provide annotations for each citation of a primary source (literary or artistic) in Early Greek Myth and links to the sources wherever possible, including English translations for the literary ones. The citations are compiled by students in Classical Mythology at the University of Georgia, taught by Elena Bianchelli, and edited by Dr. Bianchelli and Frances Van Keuren. Many sources cited by Gantz are not available online in English, or available only in out-of-date translations. We here provide new translations for as many as possible of those sources.
